Where to sign up? Students interested in signing up for a 30-minute session can visit our google calendar below. How to claim a slot? (1) Scroll to the time slot you'd like to sign up for. (2) Insert your name and email in the name of the event, and (3) "SAVE". A Google Meet link for your session will be automatically generated, and that slot will no longer be available for others to use. (4) Make note of your session and add it to your calendar.

"Have you ever wondered how philanthropy and science can intersect to help improve the world around us? Join us for a seminar given by Dr. Norbert Tavares, a Science Program Manager from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, to learn about his pathway from the bench to program management, and how he is helping to push scientific frontiers and make science a more diverse and equitable environment for all of us. Dr. Tavares is a microbiologist and program manager at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. He works with researchers to foster collaborations and innovation, develop transformative tools, and funding opportunities to fill research gaps and accelerate scientific discoveries in the biomedical research space.
