Camilo Uribe is a dedicated executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in global energy companies, in disciplines such as operations, asset management, and structured development. He is passionate about the energy transition, and strives to empower younger generations to research, innovate and develop new technologies.

Camilo has been an active member of executive and advisory boards throughout his career, offering strategic advice and fostering a culture of ethics and compliance. In 2020, Camilo co-founded the Colombian Hydrogen Association, a non-profit organization, and was elected President & Chairman of the Board. Later, in 2022 Camilo joined PDC Machines LLC’s Advisory Board as Lead Director and has been advising on strategic matters related to the company’s global expansion of its hydrogen diaphragm manufacturing operations. From 2020 through 2022 he was a Principal Director of the Executive Board of the Colombian Renewable Association, where he promoted wind and solar industries, supporting innovation to help reduce barriers to entry and advocating for public auctions. 

Camilo currently serves as President & CEO of ENGIE Colombia. He joined the ENGIE group in 2013, and prior to his assignment in Colombia served as Head of Strategic Origination & Asset Management in the North American business unit based in Houston. Before joining ENGIE, Camilo held various leadership roles at the AES Corporation, General Motors and British Petroleum, where he led efforts in corporate finance, planning and analysis, risk & commodities, asset acquisition & divestitures, and human resources.

Camilo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance from Universidad de Los Andes, Colombia. He attended Harvard Business School and completed postgraduate executive management studies in Leadership, Strategy and Negotiations and earned a certificate in Project Management from University of Texas at Austin.
